Ysgol Y Strade pupil Jordan has been catapulted to the limelight especially over the past year.
It all started with a leading role as the Phantom in Llanelli’s SA15 Stage School production of the Phantom of the Opera.
This followed with numerous praiseworthy appearances on the concert stage. Jordan’s appearances have included prestigious events such as in the Llanelli Rotary Club’s World War I Gala Concert, the Royal British Legion’s Festival of Remembrance at the Brangwyn Hall, the Annual Concert of Kidwelly Festival Choir, at private functions in Llanelly House and Stradey Castle and at last year’s Civic Service of Llanelli’s Town Mayor.
Jordan Williams is one of the Loud Applause Rising Stars and director Cerith Owens says, "Jordan is musically a very talented young man with great potential. He is in constant demand as a soloist for all types of events."
Jordan said: "Loud Applause Rising Stars has given me many great platforms. Loud Applause promotes local up and coming young aspiring musicians in some of the best concerts in the area. My confidence grows with every concert whether in respect of performing or socializing. These are important skills – the ability to communicate effectively and confidently which is extremely important these days."
Jordan's next big concert is in Cor Curiad’s 20th Anniversary Concert with Paul Potts.
Jordan added: "I was very excited to be asked to perform in Cor Curiad’s Anniversary Concert. I know their musical director Alex Esney well and also a few members of the choir. It is indeed a great honour to share the stage with this well known and hard working choir, the internationally famous Paul Potts along with Burry Port Brass Band and compere Kevin John – all great artistes and of course all in support of the charity Calon Plus. What a wonderful opportunity ! I am told tickets are selling fast!"
