Blue Light Disco date for Cross Hands
Young people, aged 11-17 years, can join in the fun at the monthly Blue Light Disco, held at the Gwernllwyn nightclub, Cross Hands on Thursday May 31.
The event is staffed by the Amman and Gwendraeth youth service team, police officers and volunteers.
Entry to the event is £5 and doors open at 7pm and close at 10pm. Entry fee includes unlimited soft drinks and in this month’s blue light disco young people can take advantage of the photofunbox where they can join their friends in a group photo.
Rhys Jones, Senior Youth Worker for the Amman and Gwendraeth area said:“The blue light discos are always very successful, we now see young people coming from the Llanelli areas and other villages beyond the Amman and Gwendraeth areas.
“We are pleased to be able to put on events like this for young people; when we see such a high volume of young people attending, it gives us and parents piece of mind that young people are gathering in a safe environment and are having a good time without the influence of alcohol.”
