West Wales theatre arts school has exactly what you’ve been looking for . . .

Stagecoach, the leading West Wales theatre arts school, has exactly what you’ve been looking for when it stages its annual musical at the end of March.
Disney’s High School Musical gives the Stagecoach youngsters plenty to shout and sing about when it runs at Carmarthen’s Lyric Theatre between March 25 and 29.
“It’s a wonderful show and our pupils are very excited about it,” said Liane Evans, principal of Stagecoach Theatre Arts Carmarthen and Haverfordwest.
“The children are taking their cue from one of the show’s hit songs, We’re All In This Together.
“High School Musical will see pupils from Stagecoach Carmarthen and Stagecoach Haverfordwest team-up for what should be a dazzling five days at The Lyric.
“More than 200 Stagecoach pupils will be taking part in the show and they come from all over West Wales, including as far afield at Tenby, Fishguard and Aberaeron.”
Liane added: “It’s a show many are familiar with and we are delighted to be performing Disney’s High School Musical and bringing a flavour of the West End to West Wales.”
All Stagecoach pupils aged six and over will be part of the high energy musical.
The cast members will be split into six different groups, with everyone having a chance to shine.
The show is being produced by the Stagecoach Carmarthen and Haverfordwest teaching team and all students used in the performances are ‘home-grown talent’ from the Stagecoach ranks.
Stagecoach principal Liane continued: “At Stagecoach, we believe in nurturing and growing talent whilst working hard to ensure that our students gain confidence and gain key life skills in the process.
“The skills they learn will not disappear when the curtain falls on Sunday, March 29; they are skills for life.”
Hit songs from High School Musical include We’re All In This Together, Get’cha Head in the Game, What I’ve Been Looking For and Breaking Free.
The original High School Musical was a hugely-successful 2006 American teen/children's romantic comedy musical film.
The plot has been described as a modern adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, with a story revolving around two High School juniors from rival ‘cliques’ – Troy Bolton, captain of the basketball team and Gabriella Montez, a shy transfer student who excels in maths and science.
Tickets (£10/ £12) are available to purchase via Carmarthenshire Theatres, Theatrau Sir Gar.
Performances: 25- 29 March 7.30 pm with matinee performances March 28 and 29.
