There is an important meeting at Carmarthen Town AFC this month.
The club will be holding an EGM at the clubhouse and community centre on Wednesday, August 29, starting at 7pm.

The Football Association of Wales are holding a Football Funday/Festival, on Sunday 19th August at Parc Y Scarlets, Llanelli - one year before the first match day of the UEFA Women’s U19 Finals Tournament 2013.
The aim of the day is to raise awareness of the tournament, recruit volunteers and launch the tournament section of the website. Both the outdoor training pitch and indoor barn at Parc y Scarlets are booked form 12-5pm on the day.
Women’s National Team Manager Jarmo Matikainen will be running a coaching session. Colin Staples (Football Development Officer, Carmarthenshire) plus other coaches will run some fun football sessions. There will also be other activities/facilities available such as bouncy castle, speed shot, face painting, raffle, etc.

Tickets for each game are as follows:
Adult - £20
Senior Citizen (age 65 and over) - £5
Junior (age 16 and under) - £5
There is no booking fee when you order from the club and no limit on tickets for yourself and family and friends (subject to availability of course).

Carmarthen Town AFC is looking to put together a team of ground staff for the coming season.
The work involves the preparation, maintenance and repair of the football pitch for all matches involving the various teams representing Carmarthen Town.
In particular, grass cutting, divot repair/replacement, chain harrowing, pitch marking and grooming work will ensure that the best possible playing surface is available for the teams.
New recruits will work as a coordinated team with Richmond Park’s current groundsman.
