Grants help for Carmarthenshire events


There are three big events happening later this month in Carmarthenshire, celebrating local culture, all of which have received funding from a recently launched RDP Sir Gar grant: Dathlu Diwylliant.
The Dathlu Diwylliant grant is part of RDP Sir Gâr Innovative Hubs project and is being delivered by Menter Bro Dinefwr in partnership with Carmarthenshire County Council.
The grant aims to widen access to quality cultural events through the medium of Welsh and provide opportunities for people of all ages to enjoy and participate in the arts in rural Carmarthenshire.
Community groups can apply for up to £5000 towards the cost of putting on such events with no match funding required.

An evening with Dafydd Iwan at the Orllwyn Teifi Vintage Show

Welcome Back Concert

An evening to welcome back successful performers from the Whitland area.

Other projects eligible for support include; festivals, workshops, history projects, poetry and literature sessions, dance and live music sessions, Eisteddfoddau and gigs.
