The high profile event will bring together a host of high profile funders under one roof, including WREN, CWM and the Coalfields Regeneration Trust.
Community groups, charities and organisations will be able to access top level advice on grant support and funding streams.
Help will also be given on developing ideas and there will be talks from guest speakers who have run successful organisations in the region.
Workshops based on the theme of sustainability will be held throughout the day.
The South West Wales Regional Funding Fair will be held at the Ffos Las Racecourse on Tuesday 8 June from 10am-4.30pm.
It has been jointly organised by Carmarthenshire County Council, Carmarthenshire Association of Voluntary Services, Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council, Neath Port Talbot Council for Voluntary Services, Pembrokeshire County Council, Pembrokeshire Association for Voluntary Services, the City and County of Swansea and Swansea Council for Voluntary Services, with support from the WLGA Regional Partnership Forum for South West Wales.
Keynote speakers include John Bennet, Managing Director of the award winning social enterprise Pack-IT Group and Chief Executive of the Welsh Social Enterprise Coalition, Kelvin Jones from Gorseinon Development Trust and Jonathan Gaunt from Trysordy Treasure House.
Carmarthenshire’s Regeneration Executive Board Member cllr Clive Scourfield said: “I am delighted that Ffos Las has been chosen for this important event.
“It has been organised to share information with groups who have specific funding requirements.
“It is vital that groups needing support get involved because the nature of funding in Wales is changing and the competition for grants is ever increasing.
“The aim is to support them to develop their ideas around joint working and collaboration with the public sector in Wales.”
The event is also aimed at promoting the support and opportunities available through the Convergence Programme and is supported by the Spatial European Teams.
