Affordable housing help for St Clears

Affordable housing will be part of a housing development approved in St Clears.
Carmarthenshire County Council’s planning committee approved changes to a plans for housing at Ostrey Hill, Llangynin, to allow 34 detached and semi detached houses instead of 24 detached houses on the central part of the site. There was already planning permission for 50 houses over the whole site.
The development will not be allowed to start until Section 106 agreements or Unilateral Undertakings have been signed to provide contributions towards public open space and education, and to provide three affordable houses.
The houses cannot be occupied until Welsh Water has carried out upgrading of public sewerage system and the waste water treatment works.
