Dining room at Withybush turned into a ‘Brassiere’ for charity!

The dining room at Withybush Hospital in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, has turned into a ‘Brassiere’ as people are being asked to donate their old bras for charity.
An Against Breast Cancer bra bank has been placed in the dining room to help raise vital funds for research as being environmentally friendly and supporting the economy of developing countries.
People can bring their second hand bras into the bank and they are then packed up and shipped out to West Africa where traders support their families selling textiles locally at village markets.
A donation to Against Breast Cancer’s research is made by their recycling partner and is based on the weight of the bank so more bras mean more funds.
The dining room at Withybush Hospital is open as for breakfast from 8.15am-10.30am, lunch from 12noon-2pm and supper from 6pm-7.30pm.
It can be found on lower ground floor and provides eat in or takeaway and runs special menu days.
Tea\Coffee\Food Vending Facilities are available 24 hours.
