Hard questions on badger cull at FUW meet | News | Farmers Guardian
The Welsh Government’s decision to vaccinate rather than cull badgers led to a lively debate at the annual meeting of the Farmers Union of Wales Carmarthenshire county branch.
A panel of speakers which included Llanelli’s Labour AM, Keith Davies, was asked if the Badger Protection Act was being used more as a “Politician Protection Act”.
“The question certainly created a heated debate with Mr Davies given a rough time,” said county executive officer, Meinir Bartlett.
