'Jazz in the Bar' event for Brecon this week
The team at 'Jazz in the Bar' at Brecon have sent me some more information on an event this week -
JAZZ IN THE BAR TUESDAY 17 APRIL @ THEATR BRYCHEINIOG, BRECON (LD3 7DEW) : £6 ON THE DOOR
Jonathan Crespo Quartet - top jazz lineup includes Jon Crespo on trumpet, Jim Barber on keyboards, Ian Poole on drums, Bill Fletcher on bass.
A modern jazz quartet which draws heavily on the catalogue of Miles Davis, from the 1950s up to the present day and also play classic Blue Note and American Songbook classics.

Originally from Chile, Jon's playing is influenced by rock, jazz, classical and Latin rhythms. Something for everyone - from some of our premier musicians.
AT 8PM - EVENING EVENT; FROM 6.15PM, JAZZ WORKSHOP - trumpet, keyboards, drums or double bass.
WORKSHOP tuition on all of the Quartet's instruments -TRUMPET -KEYBOARDS- DRUMS - BASS : £10 includes workshop and the evening event. Please state instrument when booking. Under 16 need accompanying adult (no fee to pay). PARTICIPANTS need to be able to read music and around grade 5 students.
