Take a look at football star's plan for Ffos Las
This is what football personality Robbie Savage has in store for Llanelli.
The 39-time capped former Wales international and BBC Five Live radio presenter has snapped up 70 acres of land near Ffos Las racecourse.
Last week he submitted plans for a 35-bed hotel and a 60 to 70-seater restaurant and bar.
There are also long-term hopes of further investment including the prospect of a football academy.
Robbie has teamed up with Llanelli businessman and friend Tony Quaglia, a former equipment manager and sports nutritionist for Wales, for the venture. The development, which is likely to bring between 25 and 35 jobs to the area, will be sure to complement the racecourse on its doorstep.
Carmarthenshire Council leader Meryl Gravell said Robbie has kept in touch with her about his plans.
