Comic Jed Stone performing in Carmarthen tonight

Top comedian Jed Stone will be the 'turn' at the annual Carmarthen Town celebrity dinner at the Ivy Bush Royal Hotel, Carmarthen, this evening.
Here is his potted biography (even if it is a tad out of date!) -

After 10 years fronting comedy band Scholar, Jed went solo as a comedian and
has never looked back.
He recently appeared on Sky TV’s The New Comedians on Granada Plus to
great acclaim. He has also appeared on Central TV’s Joker In The Pack with
Marti Caine, and Pot of Gold with Des O’Connor, as well as many credits on
Radio Merseyside and BBC Radio Lancashire.
He is equally at home speaking at corporate dinners, sportsmen's dinners and golf days as he is on stage performing his hilarious cabaret show.
Jed has worked with the best in entertainment Leo Sayer, Ken Dodd, The
Drifters, Frank Carson, Stan Boardman, Alexander O’Neill, The Real Thing,
Showaddywaddy, Hot Chocolate, The Supremes and many more.
He is in huge demand on the after-dinner circuit.
He works with the cream of our sporting legends such as Sir Bobby Charlton, Sir Gary Sobers, Sugar Ray Leonard, Ron Atkinson, Dennis Taylor, Dave Bassett, Alan Minter, John Conteh, Ron Atkinson, Willie Thorne, Tommy Smith, Jeff Winter and many, many more on a weekly basis.
He has put together a superb client list of satisfied corporate clients, including
British Telecom, Lufthansa, Tate & Lyle, Royal Bank Of Scotland, The Labour Party Conference Blackpool 2002 and Allied Dunbar to name but a few.
He has completed highly successful summer seasons for Airtours, Thompson
Holidays, British Holidays, Haven Holidays, home and abroad.
His recent tour of the Middle East saw him performing to British Ex-pats at The Dubai Marine Hotel, The Airport Hotel, and The Grand Hyatt Hotel in Oman, all top five star hotels.
Added to all that Jed is a massive favourite with Her Majesty’s Armed Forces home and abroad, having completed countless tours of Germany and Cyprus during the past 10 years.
He works equally well to young Junior ranks, as he does to Sergeants and Officers Mess. He was compere/comedian for the huge three-day Rhine Army Summer Show, four years in a row performing to 3,000 plus every time.
If that is not enough he was recently a winner on BBC TV’s The Weakest Link.
Jed’s nutty and cheeky style appeals to all, he is deadly quick but never offensive, naughty but not crude, but best of all he is funny.
