Your chance to win Ryder Cup tickets

The world's most prestigious golf tournament is coming to Wales this year, and you could be there thanks to the new Carmarthenshire digital TV and phone service that makes it easier to access public services.
Looking Local lets you use your digital TV, internet phone and the Nintendo Wii to find out about council services, report issues and access key information, news and job vacancies - all without leaving home.
Each of the 22 councils in Wales now offer this service and to celebrate, and mark the first 'Looking Local Week', you can win tickets to The 2010 Ryder Cup, which takes place at the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport from 28 September - 3 October 2010.
There are pairs of tickets to be won for the opening ceremony / practice day (30th September) where you can watch some of the world's greatest golfers from the USA and Europe preparing for the tournament on the Celtic Manor's stunning Twenty Ten Course, and an exclusive pair of tickets for the crucial Saturday's play (2nd October).
To be in with a chance of winning the prized tickets, all you have to do is visit Carmarthenshire's Looking Local site between now and 31st August and answer a multiple choice question in the News section to be automatically entered into the prize draw.
The range of services available via Looking Local is being expanded all the time, E-Government Inclusion Officer Chris Burton said "The Looking Local platform allows Carmarthenshire residents, particurlarly the digitally excluded, the freedom to access public services at a time and place that suits them, interacting through their television in much the same way as a website. With the digital switchover rolled out across Wales this is a timely opportunity to provide residents with the ability to interact with Carmarthenshire County Council through a free and easy to use digital service anytime, anyplace, anywhere... even from the comfort of their own armchair and in using their television remote control it is through a device that everyone will be familiar with."
Looking Local is available for Sky, Virgin, Freeview (broadband and modem boxes), Wii and mobile phones.
To access the service on Sky TV press Interactive > DirectGov > Welcome > Local Services > Wales.
Virgin users should press Interactive > News & Info > Looking Local > Wales.
Alternatively you can enter www.lookinglocal.gov.uk/lookinglocal into your browser to access the service on your Wii, mobile phone and PC or text your postcode to 07786 203957.
