Worry for a "sad seagull" and an "emergency" spider in the sink were among the wackiest calls the RSPCA received this year.
The top 10 funny calls, released by the RSPCA, range from cases of mistaken identity to favours members of the public needed from the charity.
In one case, an inspector went to a call that a bat had been on a bedroom ceiling for a number of days - but it turned out to be a damp patch.
