Love is all around at Llanelli Market

Three couples in Llanelli Market have clocked up more than 87 years of marriage between them.
Whilst most us get a break from each other during the working week Audrey and Will Seward, Peter and Bronwen Beale and Sharon and Deane Bowler have never been apart, running a home and successful business together.
The trio have accumulated more than 31,500 days of working and living together since they said exchanged their wedding vows with compromise being the main factor.
Will Seward, of Seward’s Fruit and Veg and Florists, has been married for 47 years and says never go to bed on an argument: “Everyone has their ups and downs but you learn to work through them and never go to bed on an argument. You have to have an understanding that there is no boss, it’s an equal partnership. It’s a way of life for us, we love what we do and it’s brought us closer together as a couple. We’d do it all over again in a minute.”
Impress your partner with a choice of gifts and flowers from Carmarthenshire Markets and be in with a chance of winning a romantic break at Llanelli’s Stradey Park Hotel on St Valentine’s Day.
Visitors to Llanelli and Carmarthen Market who buy items associated with the patron saint of love will be entered into a draw with one lucky couple being treated to dinner and an overnight stay at the four-star hotel on Tuesday, February 14.
