Jumping beans nursery jumps for joy after receiving national award

The Jumping Beans Day Nursery in Pembrokeshire was the first nursery in Wales to achieve a national award for health promotion.
Accredited by Welsh Government the Healthy and Sustainable Pre School Scheme includes a wide range of health aspects from nutrition, oral health, hygiene, safety, environment, workplace health, personal development and relationships and emotional health and wellbeing.
Puddleducks Day Nursery, Noah’s Ark Day Nursery and Happy Days Nursery, Haverfordwest all also recently received the award.
Senior Public Health Officer Liz Western said, “A positive approach to health is central to everything a nursery does and I am delighted to see these Pembrokeshire nurseries embracing the ethos of the scheme. Nurseries play a vital role in helping happy, healthy children to be happy, healthy learners.”
