New look for Mothers' Union magazine

‘Teulu Non’ – the regular journal of the St Davids diocese Mothers' Union has had a makeover.
Its new look will be launched at noon on Tuesday, June 4 at St. Anne’s Community Church Hall, Penparcau in Aberystwyth, where the diocesan Mothers' Union will be holding its Council meeting.
Responsible for the launch will be St Davids Mothers' Union President, Brenda Evans, who said how pleased she was to be overseeing such a modernising project so early in her presidency.
She continued, “Enfys Thomas, the new editor has brought her organising skills and knowledge to bear and has produced a magazine which will have something for everyone, underpinning as it does the zest we all feel in our work.”
The first edition will include news about the commissioning service and diocesan festival.
A new feature will be a Who’s Who competition, the first of which asks readers to name five notable faces. At the heart of each edition will be the primary Mothers' Union goal of ‘Christian Care for Families’.
The key activities of the St David's Mothers' Union are helping provide holiday breaks for families in need (Away From It All project), providing suitable toys for young children in hospital (Toys for Tots project) and supporting seamen who come into Milford Haven docks from hot countries without any warm clothing (Mission for Seafarers project).
