Vouchers offer for Carmarthenshire attractions

There's a whole host of money saving offers at tourist attractions across Carmarthenshire to put a seasonal Spring in your step.
It is a great opportunity to discover just what is on your doorstep with offers ranging from free teas, coffees or Welsh cakes to discount offers to go horse racing or riding, watching the Scarlets, swinging through the trees with GoApe, munching knock down chocolate prices and many more besides.
It’s part of the Carmarthenshire County Council Tourism "On your Doorstep" drive to encourage people to look closer to home for things to do and enjoy for which a special leaflet has been produced and it’s packed full of money saving vouchers.
They will help you discover all that is going on round and about the county for less - ideal for the run up to summer.
The majority of the vouchers are valid until June 30th (2010) and include:
Aberglasney Gardens, a free guide book; Carmarthenshire Centre for Crafts, a free coffee and Welshcake; Cenarth Adventure Centre, £3 off any paintball and laser combat entry fee or 20per cent off all children’s party packages; Carmarthen County Museum, free tea or coffee;
Cwmcerrig Farm Shop and Grill, free tea with every meal purchased;
Dinefwr Park and Castle and Dolaucothi Goldmines, children free accompanied by an adult or one free adult with every paying adult;
Ffos Las Racecourse, – 10per cent off hospitality packages and a £2 discount off admission; Go Ape Pembrey Country Park, £5 off per person;
Gwili Steam Railway, two for the price of one; Hywel Dda Centre, a free bilingual guidebook; Marros Riding Centre, taster session ride for £10 plus £5 off your next riding lesson; Merlin’s Hill Centre, free child admission with a full paying adult; Morfa Bay Adventure, 25per cent off all children activities - up to four people or 25per cent off children’s’ birthday parties, more than six people; WWT National Wetland Centre, one free child admission with a full paying adult; National Botanic Garden of Wales, buy one get one half price; Pembertons Welsh Chocolate Farm, 15per cent off any shop purchase; Scarlets, 10per cent off match day tickets or 15per cent off merchandise; West Wales Museum of Childhood, one free child admission with a full paying adult.
The free ‘On your Doorstep’ voucher leaflets can be collected from lots of places across the county up until the end of June, including the three main tourist information centres at Llamas Street, Carmarthen; Discovery Centre, Millennium Coastal Park, Llanelli or Llandovery Tourist Information and Heritage Centre.
