Calling all Carmarthenshire tourism businesses

There's a big shout out this week to tourism businesses in Carmarthenshire.
Carmarthenshire Tourism Association wants to help build stronger links with local tourism business operators through Tourism Business Support Roadshows.
Nia Ball, Chief Executive Carmarthenshire Tourism Association, explained:
Those involved in running hotels, bed & breakfasts, holiday cottages, places to eat etc are best placed to recommend that their guests and customers come to you, acting as ambassadors for your business.
And so, any opportunities to meet and chat informally with these tourism trade representatives is a positive one, allowing you to share information, updates and news about what you offer to visitors to our county - and giving your industry colleagues the details they need to pass on, and to recommend and promote you…
About the Tourism Business Support Roadshows
We’re holding our informal ‘roadshows’ as a chance for tourism business operators to call in and chat with members of our team, representatives from Carmarthenshire County Council Marketing & Tourism and Visit Wales, as well as a few of our supplier members – and this year, for the first time, some of our member, local visitor attractions and activity providers.
These will be held on
Monday 26th January, at Con Passionata, Carmarthen
Tuesday 27th January, at The Castle Hotel, Llandovery
Tuesday 10th February, at the Ashburnham Hotel, Burry Port
Thursday 12th February, at Gwesty’r Emlyn Hotel, Newcastle Emlyn. The county’s tourism trade (including members and non-members) will be encouraged to call in to see us at any point from 11am until 3pm.
The Opportunity
These events are all about building good quality contacts. From having organised similar events in the past, we expect 20 or so tourism businesses - or those in the process of setting up a tourism related business - to call in to each roadshow.
The tailored format means that those who attend are those who are keen to improve their businesses and to work with others…and as such, we’d like those visitor attractions and activity providers who take part to consider offering incentives, discount vouchers, reciprocal deals etc to build strong working partnerships with other local tourism businesses.
How to be Part of it
Spaces will be limited to just a few visitor attractions and activity providers on each day (approx.5) – and this is offered as a first come, first served basis.
So please (businesses) get in touch as soon as possible to guarantee a place - and by no later than midday on Tuesday 13th January to be in with a chance.
We have lots of promotion planned for these roadshows and the sooner we know you’re involved, the sooner your can be included in the promotion which will be seen by hundreds of tourism business operators across the region…
