All tickets gone - Llandeilo Jazz a sell out!

Llandeilo Jazz 2013 is a complete sell out.
But there’s still the chance to join in the fun, with plenty of street music lined up for the weekend.
“With more than 250 musicians and a wide variety of music, from Trad Jazz through to Gypsy, we are going to have a wonderful time,” said festival organiser Simon Buckley, chief executive of Llandeilo-based Evan-Evans Brewery.
“With the promise of three days of excellent weather, it looks as though we are in for a wonderful weekend. Even if you have not got a ticket, there is great line up of street music so come along and join the atmosphere of what will be a great event.
“There is something here for everyone, and hopefully we will have raised a sizeable sum for Llandeilo’s primary schools.
“The beer is brewed, and I am looking forward to a weekend of great music.”
Headline acts for the festival include -
Willie Garnett, veteran tenor Saxophonist and Big Band Leader, will play the festival on Sunday July 7th at The Cawdor Hotel accompanied by The John Gibbon Trio. A leading player and expert on all things Saxophone, Willie is best known as a band leader and has worked with many notables from the Rock world such as The Rolling Stones to Jazz greats such as Sony Stitt.
Inspired to take up the sax after seeing Michael Brecker play at the age of 11, Llandeilo born Oliver Nezhati is a rising star on The London Jazz scene. We are delighted to welcome Oli back to his home town where he will be accompanied by The Dave Cottle Trio. Swansea Jazzland’s House band has accompanied most of the UK’s leading performers and many international jazz artists over the past 15 years or so.
Li Harding has rightly been described as the finest Jazz singer in the principality – she makes her Llandeilo Jazz debut on Saturday 6th July at The White Horse. We are pleased to announce that the occasion also marks the welcome return of Gary (Amigos) Phillips to the stage with his much admired trio.
Born in Minnessota in 1951, blues singer/guitarist Kent DuChaine has been on the road for some 25 years accompanied by his 1934 National Steel Guitar (appropriately named Leadbessie). He has played many thousands of concerts across the USA and Europe, spreading his blues message and uniquely passionate Delta style wherever he goes. Kent lends an international flavour to the festival with his concert at The Angel Hotel on Saturday 6th July.
With more than 40 events, it is not possible to list here all the many great artists appearing at Llandeilo Jazz 2013.
Please consult the website for full line up details.
The upbeat programme has a strong representation of the Welsh Jazz community and covers a wide spectrum of Jazz music including Mainstream, Traditional, Big Band, Ragtime, Jazz Rock, Funk, Gypsy Jazz & Blues.
