The music of Afternoon in Paris is based on the gypsy swing jazz tradition made popular by the Hot Club of France and is strongly influenced by great artists Django Reinhardt, and Benny Goodman among others. Latin rhythms, cheeky quotes and characteristics from their own diverse musical backgrounds, from rock and folk to pop and classical, all combine to give them a unique, sophisticated and broadly appealing sound.
