Hywel Dda Health Board | Report published on fellowship trip to British Columbia
Sarah Hope, Principal Health Promotion Specialist with Powys Public Health Team, has now produced a report detailing her recent travels and studies throughout British Columbia.
Sarah travelled to British Columbia to work with the  Ministry of Health’s Department of Chronic Disease and Injury Prevention, regional health authorities and other key partners after being awarded a Winston Churchill Memorial Trust fellowship in 2011.
The Winston Churchill Fellowship provides the opportunity for British Citizens to travel abroad to study their own worthwhile project with the aim of enriching their lives by their wider experience through knowledge, understanding and skills they gain.
Applications for the next round of fellowship travel open on 15 May.  There are 10 categories including a medical and health category, and applications close in October.
