A programme to help young people get an insight into the roles in the NHS has been a success.
Hywel Dda Health Board and The Prince’s Trust Cymru ran the Get into Health programme in Ceredigion.
Working in partnership, Hywel Dda Health Board and The Prince’s Trust Cymru provided five week placements for 13 young adults, aged 18 -25, in many different areas in healthcare from fire safety to mental health administration and health records to estates.
It is the third time the health board has run the programme which helps young people improve their teamwork and communication skills, boost their confidence, develop interview skills and enhance their CV.
