Carmarthenshire health forum date

Carmarthenshire’s third sector Health and Wellbeing Forum is due to meet on Tuesday, January 12, from 10am at CAVS, The Mount, Carmarthen.
It is open to any third sector group or organisation working in the field of health and social care or wellbeing in Carmarthenshire, whether as service providers, lobbying groups or self-help groups.
The forum will give people the opportunity to network and exchange information with other similar groups across Carmarthenshire, the Hywel Dda region and beyond.
It also gives people the opportunity to respond collectively to relevant consultations, after which opinions will be fed into the various planning groups and to the Compact Liaison Panel.
The forum will be followed by a workshop on tendering and managing tender contracts from 1.30-4.30pm.
Cllr Pat Jones, executive board member for health and social care, said: “These forums are valuable tools for meeting like-minded people and sharing best practice in the field of health and social care or wellbeing. They are also hugely useful in keeping abreast of new developments in the field, and in providing a forum in which to feed back your views.”
