New Interim County Health Director for Pembrokeshire
Hywel Dda Health Board has welcome into post Mark Brandreth as the new Interim County Director for Pembrokeshire.
Mark took up his post at the start of July after starting in the NHS in 1993.
His first Board Director appointment was in Liverpool Primary Care Trust where he went on to become Assistant Chief Executive before being invited to work at the Department of Health for a further two years.
More recently, Mark has worked in Manchester and Trafford, where he was responsible for community health services and designing an integrated care organisation.
He is a recognised authority on patient experience and patient engagement, with a track record for transforming healthcare systems. Mark was also part of a national learning set studying the application of integrated care systems into the UK.
Talking of his new post, Mark said: “I am looking forward to meeting and working with health staff and colleagues in primary and social care within Pembrokeshire County and across the wider Health Board.
“I am committed to building on the excellent services we offer and working to continuously improve services for the patients we serve.”
