Site visit date for Llanelli theatre plan
Carmarthenshire planners will go on a site visit on Tuesday to look at the proposed home for a 512-seat theatre in Llanelli.
The county council has applied for full planning permission for a theatre and community based development at the former Stepney Hotel site and Zion Chapel and Sunday School in Upper Park Street, Llanelli, as part of the Eastgate Development.
The scheme is to provide a theatre, a 100-seat performance rehearsal space, social enterprise facilities, teaching space, bar/cafe and associated administration rooms.
Following the site visit, the application will be discussed by the planning committee in the Chamber at County Hall.
