Exciting plans for new Burry Port development
Exciting plans for new Burry Port Development | Llanelli Star
Fresh hope has emerged for a multi million pound development which could completely transform Burry Port.
Plans for the development, which is adjacent to the original Grillo site have been submitted to Carmarthenshire Council's planning department.
It comes after plans to transform the former zinc oxide works site were rejected by the Welsh Government earlier this year. If the application is successful the development could bring around 134 homes to the area, alongside a host of new restaurants, pubs and businesses.
The U-turn on the scheme came after the validity of the original tidal maps were challenged.
